Automation gear machining work cell

The equipment was exhibited at the 2019 Taipei International Machine Tool Show TIMTOS. It is an automated workstation that uses a robotic arm to automatically transport/exchange workpieces between gear hobbing machines, double tooth flank measurement machines, and gear chamfering and deburring machines.

Auto-hanging

Two 6-axis robots are used with conveyors and safety fence to enable a long-axis workpiece-specific machine to realize automatic handling functions.

On line measure system and auto size compensation (CASE 1)

On the lathe automatic processing production line , linking with a special measuring device of the MARPOSS measuring probes. The measurement results are used for online dimensional correction.

Hobbing machine on line measuring and size compensation

Gear hobbing machine equipped with a double flank gear rolling tester and an automatic handling device, which can perform online inspections. The inspection results can be fed back to the gear hobbing machine for dimensional compensation.
